Meet Bob Archuleta
Re-Elect Bob Archuleta for Senate - A Proven Leader for Our Future
As we look ahead, it’s clear California needs experienced leadership—someone who understands our communities, shares our values, and has a proven record of delivering results. Bob Archuleta is that leader.

A former Presidential Appointee, U.S. Army veteran, lifelong public servant, and trusted voice in the California State Senate, Bob Archuleta has dedicated his life to service—first to his country, and then to the communities he calls home. His leadership is grounded in integrity, experience, and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of working families.
A Life of Service
Bob Archuleta’s commitment to service began early. After graduating from Salesian High School in Boyle Heights, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. That experience instilled in him the discipline, leadership, and sense of duty that continue to guide his work today.

After returning home, Bob continued serving his community as a reserve police officer with the Montebello Police Department, and later through appointments to key public commissions, including the Los Angeles County Library Commission and the Los Angeles County Military & Veterans Affairs Commission. His dedication to local leadership led him to the Pico Rivera City Council, where he served multiple terms, including as Mayor, helping guide the city through periods of growth, public safety reform, and fiscal responsibility.
Leadership in the California State Senate
Bob was elected to the California State Senate in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 following redistricting to represent the 30th Senate District. In Sacramento, he is known as a steady, results-driven legislator who works across committees to deliver for his district. He currently serves as Chair of the Senate Committee on Military and Veterans Affairs, advocating for those who have served our nation. He also sits on key committees addressing transportation, energy, business, and public safety—bringing local concerns directly into statewide policy decisions.
